The system was developed as part of the LivingKnowledge project by the Natural Language Retrieval Group at Yahoo! Research Barcelona . The team members include Michael Matthews, Pancho Tolchinsky, Roi Blanco, Jordi Atserias, Peter Mika and Hugo Zaragoza and incorporate many of the ideas first suggested by Ricardo Baeza-Yates in his 2005 paper Searching the Future.
